What is In-Person Verification (IPV), and why is it required?

In-person verification (IPV) is the process of verifying that the person who's creating the account and documents submitted by them are the same and this is required to avoid fraud and unauthorized access using your credentials. As per regulations, we (brokers) can perform Video In-Person Verification as well. 

Process of In-Person Verification

1.    Sign up on Pocketful
2.    While doing KYC, a 4-digit number is generated and shown on the screen
3.    Clients will have to enable their camera and speak the number.
4.    The system will automatically verify the number and IPV will be completed

Note: In case if client has already completed IPV once with some other broker, they'll not be required to do it again
